Piercing aftercare

General aftercare guidance to support the advice given in your appointment. Always wash your hands before touching the piercing area. Use a saline solution as advised in your appointment to gently clean around the piercing. Pat the area dry with clean, disposable paper. Avoid rubbing with towels or cloths. Leave the jewellery in place during the full healing period. Avoid twisting or playing with the jewellery, even if it feels itchy. Keep hair, headphones and clothing away from the piercing as much as you can. Try not to sleep directly on fresh ear or facial piercings. Avoid swimming pools, saunas and hot tubs until the piercing has settled. If you notice anything that concerns you, contact the studio for further advice.
