About Clear Steps Tutoring

I offer focused maths tuition for exam preparation, drawing on years of classroom experience as a former secondary teacher. I specialise in helping students prepare for important maths exams. Sessions are calm, structured and focused on building confidence as well as exam technique. As a former secondary teacher, I am used to working with different exam boards and a wide range of abilities. I break topics down into clear steps and use simple language so that tricky ideas feel more manageable. Every student comes with different strengths and worries, so I adapt the pace and the style of explanations to suit the individual. We work together to fill gaps, practise problem solving and build a solid approach to the questions they are most likely to meet in the exam. My aim is that students leave each lesson understanding a little more, feeling more organised in their revision, and ready to face their exams with greater confidence.
