Simple tips to help keep your gel nails looking neat between appointments. Keep your nails dry for a couple of hours after your appointment. Wear gloves when washing dishes or using cleaning products. Avoid using your nails to open cans, scrape labels or pick at things. Apply cuticle oil around your nails once or twice a day. Do not peel or pick off gel, as this can damage your natural nails. Use a soft file to gently smooth any small snags rather than pulling at them. Book a fresh set or removal when your nails have grown out to keep them healthy.
