Steps

1. Enable biometric unlock from preferences only on a device you trust and actively use.
2. Confirm your device-level biometric setup is already working before you blame the app toggle.
3. If biometric unlock fails repeatedly, disable and re-enable it after verifying stored session state is still valid.
