Steps

  1. Use portfolio images as evidence of real service outcomes. These should be authentic, minimally edited, and specific to the service.
  2. Use marketing images for campaign intent such as promotions, seasonal offers, or thank you messaging where overlay text and design framing matter.
  3. Marketing assets can now appear inside Portfolio Gallery as their own source, but they should still be edited from the Marketing or Default Website flow that owns them.
  4. Start from strong portfolio images, then adapt for channel specific crops only where the target channel needs them.
  5. In Portfolio Gallery, check source labels so you know whether an asset came from portfolio upload, service media, marketing, page builder, or client booking images.
  6. Do not replace core portfolio proof with overly designed campaign graphics. Customers expect portfolio sections to show real work quality.
  7. For best results, maintain both libraries: portfolio for trust and marketing creatives for conversion campaigns.
  8. Outcome check: customers can clearly distinguish proof of work media from promotional creative content.
