Steps

  1. Open Settings > Notifications and turn on Enable notifications and the Delivery & booking alert toggles you need for live request handling.
  2. In the same screen, confirm Push permissions shows Granted. If it shows Denied, use the Open settings action to enable alerts at the OS level.
  3. On iOS, also check Settings app > Notifications > Cyntree and allow Alerts, Sounds, and Badges. On Android, open system app notifications and allow all Cyntree notification categories.
  4. Return to Cyntree and use Send test push to verify delivery on the current device before relying on live request alerts.
  5. Submit a test booking request from your public page. Expected result: a push alert arrives, and the request appears in Home > Booking Requests > Pending.
  6. If pushes fail, verify you are not testing inside Android Expo Go, and confirm Focus/Do Not Disturb is not suppressing notifications.
  7. Operational rule: keep request alerts enabled for at least one owner device so response time stays within customer expectations.
