Booking as a guest vs with an account

Steps

  1. Guest booking means no account setup is required at checkout. You book with name, email, and phone, then manage using booking reference plus email.
  2. Account-based usage adds sign-in options (password, magic link, Google) for identity continuity, but booking management still relies on correct booking references and email matching.
  3. For either path, always use the same email consistently across bookings to reduce lookup problems in My bookings.
  4. Guest users should save every confirmation email because that is the primary recovery path for reference IDs.
  5. Account users should also keep confirmation emails, then use account recovery tools (magic link/reset password) if sign-in issues occur.
  6. If unsure which path you used, check confirmation email headers and whether you have existing Cyntree login credentials.
  7. Best practice: if you book repeatedly with the same businesses, keep one consistent email identity and archive confirmations.
