Notification preferences

Adjust which notifications you receive and when.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings > Notifications and treat each toggle as an operational policy, not just a personal preference.
  2. Set Enable push delivery first, then configure event toggles based on responsibility: bookings, payments, feedback, and reminders.
  3. For owner level messaging, configure Cyntree Communications separately so product updates and promotions do not pollute operational alerts.
  4. After major business changes (new services, booking requests enabled, new staff workflows), audit all notification toggles again.
  5. Run a monthly test cycle: send test push, create a test booking, and confirm cancellation/reschedule alerts still fire.
  6. If a staff member misses alerts, verify both app level toggles and OS permissions on that specific device.
  7. Outcome check: each alert type has a clear purpose, and no critical event depends on a disabled channel.
