- What customers see at checkout is decided by your active payment provider (Stripe or Paystack), your business country, and your currency. Cyntree does not add or remove methods on top of what your provider exposes.
- Stripe markets (UK, EU, US, AU, and other Stripe-supported countries): customers can pay by card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex where issued) on every checkout. Apple Pay and Google Pay appear automatically when the customer is on a compatible device and browser — there is nothing to enable in Cyntree.
- Paystack markets (Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, and other Paystack-supported countries): customers can pay by card, bank transfer, USSD, or mobile money where the country and currency support each method. Available methods are controlled inside your Paystack dashboard, not inside Cyntree.
- What you cannot change from inside Cyntree: the list of methods on the checkout screen. To enable or disable a specific method, log in to your Stripe or Paystack dashboard and update the payment method settings on that account.
- How to confirm what your customers actually see: open your public booking page (Share tab in the Cyntree app) in an incognito or private window on a phone, start a real booking through to the checkout step, and review the methods listed by the provider. This is the only reliable way to verify.
- If a method you expected is missing: confirm the method is enabled on your Stripe or Paystack account for the same country and currency as your Cyntree business, then re-test. Country, currency, and account verification status all affect which methods appear.
- Wallet payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay) are device-dependent and browser-dependent. Always run a real test booking before announcing a specific wallet method to your clients, and avoid promising a method you have not seen appear on your own checkout.
