How payments work

Steps

1. Cyntree records the booking, checkout outcome, provider reference, and payment status so the appointment and money flow stay linked.
2. The business chooses which provider to use for booking payments. That default can vary by country, currency, or business preference.
3. Understand whether the service requires no payment, a deposit, or full payment because customer behavior changes accordingly.
4. For redirect providers such as Paystack and Flutterwave, the customer returns through a callback URL and Cyntree also waits for webhook confirmation before finalizing status.
5. If payment state looks wrong, verify the booking timeline, provider reference, and payment events before making manual changes.
